6 Simple Points to Manifesting Your Desires – a.k.a Goals Setting Made Simple – For Yourself and Your Business.
One of the readers here ask me if I would put together simple suggestions on goal setting. ( Thanks Magdalena!) You know, I have gotten away from the “language” of goal setting because it reminds me of my past life as a corporate sales exec. (Not that it’s a bad thing). Goal setting to me then seemed sterile and robotic.
I’m going to put a bit of a twist of goal setting – for the new mindset! Goals are wants based on your BIG Vision. Once you know what you want you can set the intention and then take inspired action to manifest your desires. See, doesn’t that feel less sterile and more aligned with what your inner ideas, thoughts and wants? It makes the entire process seem enjoyable and fun rather than business-like and generic – right? I’m giving you ideas to reprogram the “old programming.”
Here are the 6 Simple Points to Manifesting Your Desires – yes goals setting made simple!
1. Know what you want – and WHY! This is pretty straight forward. First and foremost you need to understand your WANTS. Are they aligned to your core values? (Here’s a hint – if they aren’t aligned you’re not going to reach them!)
2. Make the goal simple – too much detail clutters up the real purpose of the goal.
3. Make it attainable. If your goals are too loft you’ll get discouraged and pack it in. Make each goal a small, very do-able step toward your Big Vision.
4. Be accountable to your goals. There is no one you are really accountable to other than yourself. Honor your goals and your vision by being honest in your intentions.
5. Make sure your goals are clear and focussed. Setting goals are great, but if your not completely clear on why you want to achieve the goal, and how it will move you forward, rethink your goal.
6. Take Inspired Action. Any idea, any goal is just a thought waiting to happen. When you take inspired and motivated action toward your goals (desires) you will create momentum and movement in realizing your BIG Vision.
The more simple you make a process, the easier it is to accomplish. That goes for goal setting., manifesting your intentions, creating your outcome…no matter what way you say it, it all comes down to clarity and focus. How’s this Magdalena? Thanks for the inspiration!

“Confidence is the courage to stand out and be yourself! “ ~ Christine Laureano
I remember when I was a kid I was good at whatever I tried – I hadn’t learned that I couldn’t be or do whatever my heart desired. When I put my mind to something, I tried it. It didn’t matter if I was any good at, I just had fun being who I was and trying new things.
As I got older the dreadfull lesson of judgement arose. I remember, in junior high, when a group of friends and I went skating. I could skate pretty well and tried spins and little jumps – why not?! Then I caught a glimpse of my friends looking at me with ” that look”, you know the judging one! Wow, I didn’t like that. I wanted to be like everyone else. So, I started to fall – because that’s what my “friends” were doing. Continue reading ““Confidence is the courage to stand out and be yourself.”” »
The Power in Movement and Stillness
The morning was solitary and quiet. The air was fresh and I opened the sliding glass doors to welcome in the morning. This was yoga day - which was the first time in, well, a very long time. As a matter of fact, I have slacked off a bit this summer from movement and exercise all together. So when I started back up with past week I felt sore muscles and that amazing mental clarity that comes from working out!
As I eased into the yoga moves -a bit apprehensive since it’s been so long – I got into the poses (for the most part) and started to feel my body heat rise, my breath flow and my mind empty in to the present moment. The stretch is also something I must remember to add to my daily workouts. I also remembered why I didn’t do yoga as much as I wanted. I usually like movement, a lot of movement – running, biking, walking, etc. And the stretching, no time for stretching. You’d think I’d know better as am athlete. I Found GOLD in Minneapolis!
I just returned from my LIVE Mastermind Meeting, where my mastermind sisters and I share our stories, strategies, breakdowns ….and breakthroughs.
GOLD - A shining precious metal, a solid and hard mineral that when heated can be molded and sculpted, used for it’s value in exchange for a service or product. The metaphysical meaning – This symbolizes the purity of the spiritual aspect of “All That Is”. Burried deep within the earth and available to those that wish to dig deep for it.
So, as I went through my journey over the past couple of days I went deeper into the cavern ( daunting yet blissful ) of SELF. I have done this work for decades, so what was different this time? What the hell am I doing? What is it about “me”, and what I do, that can make a difference to anyone? See, I told you there was a breakdown! Continue reading “I Found GOLD in Minneapolis!” »
